Recycling the same fake testimonials doubtless saves time and effort as well as indicating that these two apparently separate companies are under the same management. It also underlines why I would not touch either Optimum Fine Wines Ltd or Wellington House Collections Ltd as well as the associated company Prestige Wealth Collections Ltd with a barge pole.

The price guide on the Optimum Fine Wines Ltd's website usefully shows that you can buy these wines cheaper elsewhere. Just check the prices on www.wine-searcher.com

  3. Anon. Have you contacted your local Trading Standards? Also you could register a complaint through the Companies Investigation Branch of the Insolvency Service plus make a complain through Action Fraud.

  5. The rip off season continues....! The irony of it all...fine wine should be a pleasure in all contexts whether buying to drink or for investment. Ah, if that only were the case.
So as a potential investor with some knowledge of the market and £80k I dabbled !
Made 36k with Aston Lovell and thought would reinvest; Vinance, and Sanderson Forbes. What had been a very pleasant experience turned into a nightmare and continues 5 years later.
Vinance as an unsecured creditor I stand to gain £8 with a loss of original investment of £42k . Sanderson Forbes, a loss of 5k, thankfully Barclay Card have reimbursed some of the cash . As for the last, Boltons, words fail me. Most of the wine purchased by me never materialised. Again I stand to lose a considerable amount. My cynicism for the market knows no bounds and to add insult to injury Boltons investors will now be levied a £250 + fee for the release of each case assigned to them. The fee is felt justified by VIn-X. Due Diligence ? Of Course I did my homework before investing.

  6. Why are vin-x charging Boltons clients £250?

    1. Having spoken to Peter Shakeshaft 'off the record' on reasons and background to this charge, I suggest that Mike Curran contacts Vin-x Ltd to clarify the reasons for this charge.

  7. Mike Curran, I'm in the trade and would urge you to challenge vin-x on this charge. This is not standard industry practice and I know of no precedent. IMO they are taking the mick - if you're suggesting that's a cost perr case, then it's obsurd. Good luck - I shall now go and chill my boiling blood.

  8. So if you own a case of wine that was purchased from Boltons and is now under the control of Vin-X - if it's worth £1,000 you have to pay Vin-X 25%+ of the value of that asset to actually get ownership of it?

    Justified...that's laughable. Poor Mike.

  9. Optimum Fine Wines website has been down since March, a bit fishy if you ask me? 2 months and no updates? Harry Mosley trying to sly off into the background whilst his band of gullible 'brokers' take the fall?

Any Optimum Clients see this post feel free to let me know how your investment is going?

  10. Thanks Anon. Company is late in filing its accounts – overdue since 9th April 2014.

  11. dont hold your breath with them ever filing accounts!! why cant the SFO or trading standards get involved with both these companies?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Anon. You may well be right that Optimum won't be filing anything and has probably ceased to trade. Probably too small fry for SFO.

  14. wellington and optimum are both connected by blood - Harry Mosley the stupid immature 22 year old, all good things come to an end.... even sooner when you are as thick as he is.

i hope the police catch up to him and his tax dodging ways.

id like to see him go the same way as those other muppets.....inside!
