Finbow Wines Limited/Nouveau World Wines Limited: administrators appointed

Trevor Binyon of R S Tenon has been appointed as liquidator to Nouveau World Wines and Nick Wood of Grant Thornton as liquidator to Finbow Wines Limited.

Due to the link between the two companies, Grant Thornton was given the opportunity of acting jointly with R S Tenon, but refused.

  3. Andy. As far as I know no charges have yet been brought, although a number of people are on police bail. It is not, however, that unusual for fraud investigations to take a long time.

  5. I had a word with the police recently. Finbow co. was a forerunner to Nouveau Wines which failed, and they set up this scam after that. went on for about a year with 1.8million taken to date- no wine, no money tracable. they (6 people)are on bail till April 2012 cos of more evidence awaiting from oz. sorry not good news for us. got to write it off. maybe something will come back in time but wouldn't hope on that. seems like they spent it as it came in, luxury cars, hotels, wages, expenses, rent, commissions etc etc. very corrupt. justice will prevail

  7. Andy. As far as I know there have been no charges as yet, so I would be very surprised if there was a court case in April.
